Add up the rest of your bill before you talk to anyone.

Your monthly plan is the big number. These are the small ones, published so you can do that sum with your own enquiry volume rather than ours.
Beyond your monthly plan, you pay for the messages you send and any extras you switch on. AI messages are 10 cents each. Your first 10,000 emails are included, then emails cost $0.0039 each. Texts start at $9 a month for unlimited, using your own mobile number and an Android phone you supply. Contacts are unlimited at no charge. Usage never interrupts your service; it appears on your next bill. All prices NZD and excludes GST.

There are three numbers, and only two of them come from us

  1. Your subscription. The monthly plan price, published on the pricing page along with setup.
  2. Your ad spend, on plans that include ads. You set the budget and pay Facebook and Google directly from your own account. Your ad account and budget stay yours, and we never hold your ad spend.
  3. Usage. The messages, emails, texts and calls the system sends and receives on your behalf. That is what this page covers, in full.
Most of what people call "hidden fees" lives in that third number. Every rate in it is on this page, so you can add up your own before you speak to anyone.

Nobody uses every line on this list. Which ones you see depends on how you talk to your customers. The rest are here so that if you ever do use one, the price was already on the page.

What this looks like on your bill

Say the AI handles 150 messages for you in a month and sends 400 emails. The messages come to $15, the emails are inside your included allowance, so your usage that month is $15 on top of your plan.
Double the messages and it doubles: 300 messages is $30. That is the whole shape of it. Usage scales with how busy you are, which means it scales with how much work the system is bringing you.

That month, itemised

AI messages, 150 at 10c$15.00
Emails, 400Included
ContactsNo charge
Usage on top of your plan$15.00

Your plan and setup are the separate, larger number, on the pricing page. NZD, excludes GST.

Ad spend never appears on our invoice

Your ad budget is not a usage fee and it is not ours. On plans that include AI Ads, it goes straight to Facebook and Google from your own account. You set it, you can change it any week, and it never passes through us, so it is never a line on a bill from LazyMagnet and we can never take a cut of it.
Having your ads run for you rather than running them yourself is a separate monthly fee, on top of your plan and your ad budget. The figure is published on AI Ads and on the pricing page.

What you might be charged that isn't priced yet

Three things, and this is all three. Each one is agreed with you in writing before it can appear on a bill.
  • A third AI agent, or more. Your plan includes two AI Sales Agents built and run for you, which covers almost everyone. If your business needs a third, that is priced per agent and we agree it with you in writing before it is built.
  • Minutes on the AI Receptionist. The receptionist is $297 a month on its own, or $200 a month added to AI Complete. What happens if your call volume runs unusually high is not settled yet, so there is no per-minute rate published. Until there is, we agree any extra with you in writing first.
  • Extra logins for your team. Every plan comes with logins for your team, and extra ones are sold in bundles of five. What a bundle costs depends on your plan, so there is no number to publish yet. As with the other two, we agree it with you in writing before anything changes.

Going over doesn't switch anything off

If you use more than your plan includes, your service keeps running. The extra simply appears on your next bill. Nothing stops mid-conversation, no customer gets an unanswered message because a counter hit a limit, and there is no bill shock waiting because the rates are the ones on this page.
No hidden fees: anything not listed here or on the pricing page is agreed with you in writing before you're ever charged.

On AI Complete, or the AI Sales Agent on its own:

Every enquiry answered in under 60 seconds, day or night. If we ever miss one, that month is free.

Applies to enquiries on your connected channels: text, email, web chat, social messages, and missed calls, which get a text back that starts the conversation. Measured from our message logs.

What owners ask before they add up the bill

  • 10 cents a message. It is the one usage fee almost every customer sees, because it is what the AI uses to answer enquiries, follow up with people who have gone quiet, and send appointment reminders. There is no bundle to buy and nothing to top up: the messages are counted and added to your next bill. All prices NZD and excludes GST.

Now you can add it up yourself

Plans and setup fees are on the pricing page. Every usage rate is on this one, and the three things we haven't priced yet are named above rather than left for you to find on an invoice.
If you want to see what you would actually use, book a call: we will walk through the rates against the number of enquiries your business really gets, rather than a made-up example.
